A bodybuilder shares what happened after he stopped training for 100 days

Matt Morsia, also known as MattDoesFitness, has been doing less fitness after rupturing his Achilles tendon.

He can't perform squats or deadlifts while he recovers.

Matt updates his recuperation in a new video, seeing his physiotherapist and learning how much strength he's lost in 100 days.

His physio says the advantage of returning to normal exercise doesn't outweigh the danger. "Slow, heavy contractions are safe.

The danger comes if you're carrying a heavy bar and must move forward or lose balance."

He ends his deadlifting exercise with 3 sets of 10 at 100 kgs (220 pounds). "That's 30% of my one-rep max, very light," he adds.
