The unusual April snowstorm that hit Portland Monday morning snapped tree limbs and downed power lines.
100,000 customers were without power in the region at one point.
Rebekah and Shayne said they "lost a bit of a tree." They lost power around 8:30 a.m., so no coffee.
I told him to make his coffee before we lost power. “Not true, because 10 minutes later the power goes completely out.”
“We were looking out the window at snow this morning and it missed us by feet,” she says.
