After union pressure, Apple will lengthen retail workers' shifts.

Apple Inc. has agreed to make retail store work hours more flexible, according to individuals with knowledge of the plans.

According to employees at several outlets, the corporation will make schedule modifications in the coming months.

Some store workers have complained to management and unions about their schedules, and Apple's retail director recently hinted adjustments.

Deirdre O'Brien informed employees in a video message that she is devoted to make Apple the best it can be for them, from scheduling to compensation and benefits to store experience

Employees say the corporation plans these changes:
Increase from 10 to 12 hours between shifts.
Three days a week beyond 8 p.m., unless workers request late hours.

Apple has made modifications to appease employees and deal with a tight labour market.
