Florida man wins lottery after a detour Heartwarming Home

Leonard Linton bought a winning ticket on his way to pick up his pregnant dog Ivy, who "wasn't feeling well," according to the Florida Lottery.

Linton took a different way home to get her as swiftly as possible.

On his way to get the dachshund, he bought a $10 "100X THE CASH" scratch-off ticket at Stop & Shop.

He didn't realise he'd won $2 million.
"This is life-changing," Linton added.

The Florida lottery tweeted a picture of Linton with his dog and the cheque.
Linton took a $1,645,000 lump amount.

When asked how he'd spend his money, he said he'd buy his dog a new kennel.
