Lion Bite Off Zoo Attendant's Finger

Friday's video of a Jamaica Zoo employee getting his finger chewed off by a lion went viral on Twitter.

The video has been seen almost 4 million times and shows a guy poking his hand in a lion's cage while tourists film with their phones.

The event happened at 4:30 p.m. at the Jamaica Zoo in Lacovia, St. Elizabeth, in front of 15 people, according to the Jamaican Observer.

Man prods and strokes lion as it roars and bares fangs.The lion bites the man's finger, causing him to curse and try to free it.

The guy collapses when the lion chews off his finger.A zoo visitor told the Jamaica Observer her reaction.
