Joshua Locklear, 32, of Pembroke, purchased a $10 50X The Cash Fast Play ticket when he saw the jackpot had reached $585,949.

Locklear scanned the ticket and was advised to pick up his reward at lottery headquarters.

The player analysed the ticket and won $600. He was startled to find he'd won $585,949 at lottery headquarters.

Locklear hopes to purchase a home and automobile with his prize money. He wants to help the community.
