Michigan school board rejects state AG probe

OCS turned down the Michigan AG's second invitation to investigate a November school massacre. The school board announced a third-party probe

According to the school board, it is completely participating with the Oakland County prosecutor's inquiry.

Ethan Crumbley, a former Oxford High School student, is accused of murdering four other pupils on Nov. 30. His trial is planned for September.

Jennifer and James Crumbley are accused of neglecting to see warning flags about their son months before he tragically murdered his classmates.

The board also announced that Secure Education Consultants had conducted an independent evaluation of all district safety protocols.

(It) shows that the board is more concerned with reducing liability than providing better peace of mind to children, parents, and instructors who have been through a horrific situation.
