New birthday and holiday customs may grow pricey quickly, particularly when presents are involved.
One parent discovered a method to incorporate her kids in family holidays without breaking the pocketbook.
They go to the dollar shop, where she allows them "free reign" to buy gifts... and they went wild.
Mom says this happens regularly. "Seeing their response when they open it is the best," she stated in the video.
The kids had a blast and got to give presents, which is more fun than getting, or so we want them to learn. At $10 apiece, it was also cost-effective.
