My bank mistakenly deposited $10,000. I reported and saved it. Is enough done?

I deposited a cheque last month. The bank teller unintentionally gave me a deposit of over $10,000 instead of $1,000.

The following day, I phoned the bank to report the issue. The branch manager told me the mistake will be fixed in a few days.

After a month, I moved the money to my savings account so I wouldn't spend it.

The additional money is the bank's, and I only have it due to an accident. In reverse, I'd want my money back.

I've tried to get the bank to return the money, therefore I was wondering whether it would become legally mine.

If you moved $9,000 to your savings account, it's impossible to refute the latter.
