NASA planes will fly over DC, Baltimore, and Hampton on Tuesday.

NASA will fly above I-95 from Washington to Baltimore and Hampton, Virginia, from July 5 to 16.

This flyover supports NASA Ames Research Center's Students Airborne Science Activation programme.
NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia operates the four-engine turboprop P-3.

NASA said each trip will involve a low-level pass over I-95, two spiral tracks over Baltimore, and one over Greenbelt, Md. NASA says the spacecraft will fly 1,000 feet above the Chesapeake Bay

NASA Airborne Science Program Tracker has a NASA P-3 aircraft icon (N426NA).

Wallops' Facebook and Twitter will update flights. Wallops will report the P-3's flying time over I-95 and Hampton the day prior.
