Shoulder Training Exercises in Your Workouts

The reason you should limit your shoulder repertoire isn't because the muscle group should be avoided or because just a few exercises are worthwhile.

It's because your workout is probably quite shoulder-heavy in the first place, according to MH Advisory Board member and celebrity trainer Don Saladino.

"If we're exercising our chest, we're getting shoulders in," he explains.

"If we're working our triceps, we're getting shoulders in."

"We create stress in our shoulders when we squat; if we perform farmer's walks or any type of carry.

Which you know I enjoy doing—sled pushing, our shoulders are involved."
