Test Drive The Tesla Cybertruck's Rear-Wheel Steering

The Cybertruck was the star of last week's Cyber Rodeo at Gigafactory Texas in Austin.

On stage with Elon Musk, Franz von Holzhausen drove it up there, reminding everyone of the Cybertruck's November 2019 launch.

The prototype's interior was unremarkable, lacking a production-ready cabin.

But there was something special that some of the Cybertruck's close observers got to see: rear-wheel steering.

Elon Musk confirmed that production of the Cybertruck will begin in 2023, likely at the start of the year.

The electric pickup was originally scheduled for late 2021, but was delayed to late 2022.
