The First State is the only one without commercial flights

Delaware will soon have no regular commercial aeroplane service.

Frontier Airlines will terminate service between New Castle Airport (ILG) between Wilmington, Delaware, and Orlando (MCO) on June 6.

“We are always analysing our routes, and ILG will absolutely be considered for future service,” Frontier spokeswoman Jennifer De La Cruz told TPG.

She stated that due to lack of demand, the Wilmington-Orlando trip would be discontinued on June 6, 2022.

The airport recognised as a “primary commercial service airport” instead of a “general aviation relief airport.”

With Frontier, Wilmington seemed to be a destination airport for travellers heading to Florida.
