Twitter fires two execs amid Elon Musk takeover woes

Twitter has sacked two top executives in the wake of Elon Musk's proposed purchase.
Kayvon Beykpour, a Twitter GM for seven years, leaves

CEO Parag Agrawal "asked me to depart after letting me know he wanted to take the team in a new route," Beykpour tweeted Thursday.

Twitter's sales and product head, Bruce Falck, was also sacked, according to a deleted message. It now reads "unemployed."

On both occasions, Twitter stated it was halting most recruiting except for business-critical positions.
